Stucco and render have been used as a decorative coating since the Greek and Roman ages. Beautiful, but especially susceptible to weathering - most facades need attention every few decades. We repair, restore and reproduce external stucco and architectural detailing across London.

The success of any stone restoration project comes down to the craftsmanship of the masons. Ours have worked on some of London's most iconic buildings and monuments - analysing the substrate, matching repair materials to the original stone, and returning the stonework to its natural beauty.

Pointing is the part of a facade most people never notice until it fails: the joint profile decides how a wall sheds water, how it ages, and how the brickwork reads from the street. We hand-rake and repoint in the style the building was built in - matched on site, mixed to suit the fabric, and finished by masons who have cut every one of these profiles before.

Cleaning is the first and most important step in any restoration project. It lifts decades of pollution back off the facade, and it is the only way to see the true condition of the stone and brick underneath before anything else is specified. Used wrongly, cleaning equipment does permanent damage - which is why the method is chosen for the substrate, never the other way round. We clean commercially and residentially across London and the home counties: hospitals, offices, churches and historic buildings through to stucco and Victorian houses.

We carry out full facade restoration across London - survey the building, repair the stone and brickwork, renew the pointing, reinstate render and mouldings, and clean the elevation, under one scaffold and one point of responsibility.
