Royal Gate Apartments

A Victorian former school building beside Victoria Park, converted to apartments, with its stone gate piers, entrance surrounds and dressings cleaned back from years of soiling and biological growth. Minor repairs were carried out where the stone had spalled or the joints had opened, so the cleaned face reads evenly against the red and yellow stock brickwork behind it.
